In 2025, the acclaimed Piazzolleky quintet reached a major milestone by expanding into a full-scale Orquesta Típica. "El Once" - an 11-piece orchestra built specifically for the dance floor.
While the original quintet gained international renown over nearly two decades for its concert virtuosity, this new XXL formation shifts its full focus to the heart of the Golden Age of Argentine Tango (Época d'Oro). Featuring four bandoneons, four strings, piano, guitar, double bass, and vocals, OT EL Once delivers an authentic, highly danceable Milonga experience structured with classic Tandas and Cortinas.
Designed from the ground up for milongueros, their repertoire honors the iconic dance rhythms of classic masters - combining the power and acoustic depth of a traditional 1940s orchestra with the musical precision built over 300 European and international concert stages.
